JOSEPH ROZAS
I am the owner of "Jazz For All Occasions"
and the founder of our Jazz group - Sax Appeal.
My musical career started at age 6 with
classical piano. During my early 20's I moved to Spain and formed one of
the first reputable Blues Bands. We toured for six years there.
I formed the Jazz band 'Sax Appeal' in the
summer of 2000
We perform for private events, wedding receptions
and ceremonies, and more.
We have played in the Ponte Vedra Lodge,
Club Continental, Hilltop Restaurant, Sawgrass, St Johns Golf and Country
Club, World Golf Village, and the Case Monica Hotel.
I play tenor and soprano saxophone, the
Yamaha wind synthesizer, and blues harmonica.
RAY MARTIN
Known as "Conga Man" in the area of NOrth
East Florida, the Cuban born Musician has played with various local bands
and performed in several known festivals across the Sunshine State.
Appearances in "The Jacksonville Jazz Festival",
"Fiesta Playera", "World of Nations", "Word Beat", "St Augustine Summer
Jazz Series", guest musician for the Richie Ray Orchestra, Steve Fryed's
Gospel Music, Cool d'luxed, Raices Orchestra.
Currently resident of the city of Jacksonville,
Ray Martin demonstrates the deep roots of the Afro-Cuban rhythms giving
to the public the true flavor on each performance.
"Music has been a part of my life since
the early age of 8 years old, specially growing up with the African beat
of my country. My idols were always Los Papines, Enrique Pla, Changito,
Carlos Patato Valdez, and others like Giovanni Hidalgo, Ponte Sanchez,
and Tito Puente.
They have always portrayed a passion for
the Cuban music and were great contributors, pioneers and masters of our
music.
Of this we should be eternally grateful.

BARRY KELSEY
Barry Kelsey is a multi-talented musician who plays the
Piano, Flute, Alto Sax, and also provides Vocals.
Barry started his professional career as a U.S. Navy musician,
touring the world and playing Jazz.
After the Navy he attended the Berkeley School of Music
in Boston. There he studied the Saxophone with famed teacher Joe Viola.
Later after getting a BME, he attended North Texas University, working
on his Masters in Music Degree.
Barry taught Jazz at NTU and played with the world famous
"One O' Clock" Jazz band. His professional credits include working regularly
with the bands of Rich Matheson, Don Jacoby, Maurice Anderson, and Billy
Joe Walker Jr.
Barry was signed as a song writer and singer by MGM Records.
He was a member of the recording band 'Montage'. Barry also performed as
a studio musician and has recorded more than a hundred Christian and Pop
Albums.
