JOSEPH ROZAS

I am the owner of "Jazz For All Occasions" and the founder of our Jazz group - Sax Appeal.

My musical career started at age 6 with classical piano. During my early 20's I moved to Spain and formed one of the first reputable Blues Bands. We toured for six years there.

I formed the Jazz band 'Sax Appeal' in the summer of 2000

We perform for private events, wedding receptions and ceremonies, and more.

We have played in the Ponte Vedra Lodge, Club Continental, Hilltop Restaurant, Sawgrass, St Johns Golf and Country Club, World Golf Village, and the Case Monica Hotel.

I play tenor and soprano saxophone, the Yamaha wind synthesizer, and blues harmonica.

"Music has been a part of my life since the early age of 8 years old, specially growing up with the African beat of my country. My idols were always Los Papines, Enrique Pla, Changito, Carlos Patato Valdez, and others like Giovanni Hidalgo, Ponte Sanchez, and Tito Puente.

They have always portrayed a passion for the Cuban music and were great contributors, pioneers and masters of our music.

Of this we should be eternally grateful. They live on forever through their music".
